"I am a trained, post graduate English teacher with 22 years teaching experience. I began my teaching career in 1989 at the Embassy of India School, Riyadh. I was there for 10 years, following which I joined Sree Narayana Public School, Kollam. For the past two years, I have been engaged in online English teaching for students in the U.S.A." The year 2020 has dawned with a new set of challenges and changes in the lives of people all over the world. History has proved time and again the resilient nature of the human race in the face of adversity, and with this faith in our inherent strength, I welcome you to the new academic year 2020-2021 of our prestigious instituition, Sree Gurudeva Central School, Kudikkodu. Education is a lifelong learning process. Learning takes place in every step that we take. Our mission at SGCS is to impart enlightenment through education. Providing affordable and quality education to the children of the rural area has been the vision of our esteemed management. Our emphasis is to create a society of progressive thinking individuals who will step out from our school armed with knowledge, confidence and compassion. Here at SGCS, we strive to instill the values of integrity, innovation, responsibility and unity in each and every student. We aim to empower our students to grow as individuals with strong, open, discerning minds that will enable them to leave an indelible mark in the global village. I take this opportunity to thank the management, teaching and non-teaching staff, especially our parents who have unconditionally trusted and supported us. This has been such an unprecedented time and the teachers of SGCS have emerged with upgraded skill in technology, new ways of teaching and improved vastly in digital literacy. In the present scenario 'adversity is the greatest teacher. Our school and our teachers have armed themselves to weather the storm to ensure that our children continue to learn and grow.
